This Privacy Policy explains how Tucson Aging in Place ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you contact us or use this website. By calling the phone number listed on this site, emailing us, or otherwise contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
This website does not use web forms, and we do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics trackers, or similar tracking technologies on this site. We collect information only in these limited ways:
- Information you give us directly. When you call the phone number on this site or email us, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you email), and any details you share about your service request or property.
- Phone call handling and recording. Calls to the number on this site are routed and managed through a third-party business phone provider. Calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, training, and record-keeping. Where required by law, you will hear a notice that the call may be recorded before the conversation begins.
- Basic technical logs. Our website hosting and security provider automatically records standard server-log data, such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit, to keep the site secure and running. This is not used to build advertising profiles.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the aging-in-place and home accessibility modification services you request;
- To schedule, coordinate, and follow up on service;
- To keep records of our communications with you;
- To improve our service and website; and
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to your service request, such as appointment confirmations and follow-ups. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you:
- Service providers. Trusted vendors who help us operate — such as our phone/communications provider and website hosting provider — process information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Local service professionals. To fulfill your request, we may pass your contact details and the description of your job to a qualified local home modification professional in our network who performs the work. They use your information only to contact you and complete the service.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Access or deletion: you may request that we provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@tucsonaginginplace.com.
- California residents: depending on eligibility, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise any right, email us at the address above.
8. Children's Privacy
This site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.
